The Petworth PorchFest 2026 is officially taking over the neighborhood on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (with a rain date of Sunday, May 31st).
Washington DC's largest, volunteer-led neighborhood music festival, this year's event has scaled up significantly to feature 430 bands across 31 unique musical genres playing on 164 front porches spanning 8 neighborhood corridors.
- Porch Performances (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM): Concentrated all over the area, stretching from 14th Street up to Kennedy Street, and along Georgia Avenue.
- Main Stage Finale (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Located at the Petworth Recreation Center (801 Taylor Street NW). The 2026 headliners include HUE (go-go/rock) at 5 PM, The Montaines (indie rock/alt pop) at 6 PM, and The Experience Band & Show featuring Riz Tha Great (funk/soul/go-go) wrapping it up at 7 PM.
- The Rules: The event is 100% free, open to all ages, and pet friendly. Attendees are fiercely reminded to stick to the sidewalks, respect neighbors' properties, and clean up their trash.

Digital Tools to Plan Your Day The festival organizers have launched three core interactive platforms via the official Petworth Porchfest Site to help you map your route:
- Interactive Festival Map: A dedicated Google Map detailing every participating residential porch and local business hub.
- Digital Performance Schedule: A master timeline where you can filter by genre, time block, or neighborhood block, complete with music samples for discovering local acts.
- Porch Finder Beta Tool: A brand-new custom scheduling engine that lets you select your favorite bands, sort them by specific time frames or corridors, and generate a shareable custom itinerary for your group.
