Lace up your sneakers and mobilize your squad for the Grand African Run, a massive community race explicitly engineered to celebrate culture, fitness, and deep solidarity across the regional African diaspora. This high-energy athletic movement steps past the standard starting line, turning the pavement into a vibrant celebration of cross-continental heritage, rhythm, and collective stamina. If you need to lock down your tracking gear ahead of time, the mandatory race packet pickup window activates Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at two strategic regional distribution hubs:

• Maryland Hub: Beteseb Restaurant (8201 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910)

• Virginia Hub: Alexandria Toyota (3750 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)
