Two years ago, a collective of DMV artists and misfits decided they were done waiting for galleries to validate them. So they took over a loft—raw, unpolished, and gloriously weird—and built their own stage. The result? Art in the Attic became the underground creative force that the DMV didn't know it needed.
Now, for their sophomore anniversary, they're pulling off a major upgrade. The loft is out. Lost Boy Cider—Alexandria's premier craft cidery—is in. On Saturday, September 12, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Art in the Attic transforms the spacious, industrial backdrop of Lost Boy Cider into a high-energy indoor art market that matches local creative anomalies with cider lovers. Same unfiltered energy. Better lighting. And a whole lot more space to roam.
Date & Time: Saturday, September 12, 2026 · 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Peace Tongue Wall EyesThis isn't your average craft fair. Art in the Attic curates the kind of makers who don't fit neatly into traditional gallery boxes—and that's exactly the point. Confirmed local talent includes:

The market wraps up at 9:00 PM—but your evening doesn't have to end there.
Stay at the Venue: Lost Boy Cider transitions directly from art market to comedy club. Grab tickets for Comedy Night with Next Stop Comedy, kicking off inside the taproom at 8:30 PM and running until 10:30 PM. Art and laughter? That's a win-win.
Late-Night Drinks: Head over to T.J. Stone's, a cozy neighborhood taproom open late with a massive beverage library of over 300 beers and wines. Full menu served until 11:30 PM.
Historic Waterfront Stroll: Take a quick ride down to Old Town's pedestrian shipping docks. Grab a late-night bite at Union Street Public House—a lively 200-year-old Colonial warehouse right on the Potomac riverfront.
Art Adorned BeautyArt in the Attic has spent two years proving that the DMV's underground creative scene isn't just alive—it's thriving. On Saturday, they're taking over one of Alexandria's coolest venues, bringing their signature chaos to a new space, and inviting everyone to be part of the celebration.
Best part? It's free. No excuses. Just show up, support local weirdos, and raise a glass to two years of creative rebellion.
See you at Lost Boy Cider.
